Over A Decade On The Water

about-scott-2

Capt. Scott Rose

I grew up in a small town called Armonk, New York, and spent most of my early years fly fishing the Farmington River for Brown Trout, Rainbows, and Atlantic Salmon. Some of my favorite evenings were spent fishing the magical sulphur hatches when the trout would simply not stop rising.

Capt. George Alexander

All I've ever known is skiffs, tarpon, and snook. Seeing how my dad loved backcountry fishing, I followed in his footsteps and fishing has become my life. It's not about just putting you on fish, but showing you why they’re there, what their habits are, and how to target different species.

FAQs

If you have any questions about our saltwater fishing trips, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our top priority is ensuring our clients have an exciting, safe, and memorable time on the water with us.

We require a 25% deposit for all of our saltwater fishing trips. For additional information regarding booking, please see our cancellation policy.

We run 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8-hour trips.

Our four-hour trips (½ day) are one of our most popular trips but can often feel like just a “taste” test for an experienced angler.

We like to suggest our six-hour trips. You have enough time to get farther away from the boat ramp and put a lot of fish in the boat.

Our eight-hour (Full Day) trip is for the hardcore anglers. This trip length allows us to exhaust all of our options for finding the fish.

We have comprehensive packing lists for our trips to ensure you have everything you need for a successful day on the water with us, but a basic checklist would be the following:

  • Comfortable Clothing (We have all of the below for sale as well) UPF 50 Long Sleeve Hooded T-shirts are best
  • Hat and buff for sun protection
  • Polarized sunglasses
  • Any food you want to eat during the trip.
  • Any drinks you would like to have other than water.
  • Sunscreen - please apply before walking onboard, spray is not preferred for additional application throughout the day.
  • All rods, reels, and necessary fishing tackle.
  • All safety equipment.
  • A cooler with cold water and ice.

We don’t mind if you drink responsibly but we do not allow hard liquor or glass bottles on our trips. The trip will end early and the remaining balance will be charged if one of our captains deems that drinking has jeopardized the safety of anyone on the boat.

We pride ourselves on our versatility, and we fish at over three dozen different boat ramps throughout the year. With this in mind, we will be unable to tell you where we will be fishing in advance. Generally, we will start at 7 or 8 AM and we are happy to accommodate our fishing to a boat ramp as close to where you are staying as possible.

You don’t need a license! We pay for everyone on the boat's required fishing license.

One of the coolest things about South Florida is that you have access to target multiple sporting species of fish in the same trip. Our target species are:

  • Snook
  • Tarpon
  • Bonefish
  • Permit
  • Redfish
  • Juvenile Goliath Grouper
  • Sea Trout

Our saltwater trips are 100% catch and release in an effort to help protect and preserve our fisheries.

Tips are not mandatory but they are greatly appreciated. The customary gratuity for captains is 15%-20% of the trip rate.

The Captain always has the final call on the weather. If conditions are less than ideal for the scheduled trip we will first offer a different location or style of trip. If the weather forces us to cancel you will be given the chance to reschedule your trip or receive a refund on your deposit.

We’re very flexible as long as it's done within reason and covered by our policy. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may not be accommodated.

Please read our cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please contact us via email.

Equipment lost or neglectfully broken will be charged at replacement value.
