What To Bring

Packing Lists

Amazon Trips

  • Up to date passport (make sure it will not expire within 6 months after our trip to Brazil).
  • Regarding clothes, we can pack light! Laundry is done daily, allowing us to minimize the weight that we will bring on the charter planes.
  • Long Sleeve, hooded SPF shirts. You can buy shirts for this from us directly.
  • A pair of hats, in case you lose one while running. Sun hats are a great option also.
  • Fishing gloves (the ones with the finger tips exposed. Make sure to bring 2 pairs. This will help minimize blisters and also protect your hands from the sun.
  • Polarized sunglasses.
  • Multiple pairs of sun buffs.
  • Sunscreen
  • A bathing suit (if you want to go swim with the piranhas).
  • Any medications you will need for the week (there are no CVS or Walgreens in the jungle!)
  • Any snacks.
  • Rain jacket and rain pants.
  • Chargers (there is electric onboard, 110v).
  • Candy for the kids on the sides of the banks that may approach you or if you go to a village. 
  • The villagers and guides can always use more clothing. Any old clothing you planned to donate is always greatly appreciated by everyone onboard the Kallua and on the Jurubaxi.

Freshwater Trips
